Emirates has announced the launch of four additional weekly flights between Dubai and Accra, starting 12 July 2026. The new services, operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, will increase the airline’s weekly schedule to 11 flights on the route.
Expanded schedule and aircraft details
The new flight pair, EK789 and EK790, will use a Boeing 777‑300ER. EK789 departs Dubai at 03:30hrs, arriving in Accra at 07:40hrs; EK790 leaves Accra at 10:25hrs, arriving in Dubai at 22:40hrs. The aircraft carries 8 private suites in First Class, 42 lie‑flat seats in Business Class and 304 seats in Economy.
Passengers will enjoy Emirates’ award‑winning cabin service, including regionally‑inspired meals, complimentary beverages and an inflight entertainment system with 6,500 channels in over 40 languages. The system also offers Ghanaian titles such as Kotoka, Part Time Woman and Ghana Map.

In addition to passenger services, the new flights will support cargo movements through Emirates SkyCargo. The airline’s cool‑chain infrastructure will carry fresh fruit from Accra to European and Middle Eastern hubs, enhancing supply chains for the region.
