Dubai Sports World 2026 is back, transforming Dubai World Trade Centre into the UAE's largest indoor summer sports venue. Now in its 16th edition, the air-conditioned arena opens on June 19 and runs through August 25, giving residents and visitors a cool, energetic way to stay active right through the hottest months. Spread across more than 282,000 square feet in Za'abeel Halls 2 to 6, it is built for everyone from weekend players to serious athletes.
Nine sports across 40-plus courts and pitches
The venue brings together nine sports under one roof: football, basketball, cricket, volleyball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, padel and pickleball. With more than 40 courts and pitches to book, friends, families and corporate teams can reserve their preferred space and play in full comfort.
Beyond the courts, a free community gym and a one-kilometre indoor walking and jogging track keep casual fitness fans moving. The track stays open from 7am to midnight daily, and on-site equipment rentals mean you can simply turn up and play. Fourteen sporting academies round out the offering with coaching programmes for both children and adults.
Family fun and signature summer events
Younger visitors get their own dedicated space at Dubai Kids World, packed with soft play areas, adventure zones, giant inflatables and trampolines, open daily from 10am to 8pm. It is designed to keep children entertained while parents train nearby.
A standout calendar anchors the season. RUN-IN Season 2, an indoor half marathon, takes place on June 27. The Heroes Cup on July 25 celebrates essential workers with its own tournament, while the Summer League corporate competition tips off on August 8. Together they capture the community spirit that has made the event a Dubai summer fixture.
Easy access and flexible entry
Getting there is simple, with the World Trade Centre Metro Station on the Red Line within walking distance. There is no entrance fee to enter the venue; visitors pay only for the facilities they book, with court and pitch rates starting from around AED 25 per hour depending on the sport and time slot.
As Dubai continues to grow its reputation as a year-round sporting destination, Dubai Sports World 2026 offers a smart, family-friendly way to beat the heat and keep moving all summer long.
