Filipino-German former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey attended the launch of Bulgari's new Eclettica high jewelry collection at Villa Arconati near Milan on March 23, 2026, in her capacity as the Roman jeweler's first Filipino Friend of the House. The appearance was first detailed by Metro.Style and Vogue Philippines, both of which carried the gala photographs.
The pieces she wore
For the gala dinner, Wurtzbach-Jauncey selected the Intrinsic Exuberance high jewelry necklace paired with the Kaleidoscope Symphony rose gold bracelet and the Color Treasures ring, according to Metro.Style. She wore the jewelry with a red gown by Filipino designer Mark Bumgarner.Vogue Philippines noted that the styling deliberately echoed the maximalist tone of the new collection rather than playing it safe in classic pearls or diamonds.
Inside the Eclettica launch
Per Emirates Woman, Eclettica comprises more than 160 high jewelry creations, including 14 transformable pieces, over 50 high jewelry designs and nine Capolavori, or masterpieces. The launch was staged across the Baroque Villa Arconati and the Art Deco Villa Necchi Campiglio, with the broader showcase taking in over 650 high jewellery, watch, bag and fragrance creations.Grazia Singapore reported that Anne Hathaway, Dua Lipa and South Korean actress Kim Ji-won also attended, with Abante later picking up on the public exchange between Wurtzbach-Jauncey and Kim Ji-won during the evening.
Where she stands with Bulgari
Bulgari named Wurtzbach-Jauncey its first Filipina Friend of the House on June 19, 2024, a relationship covered in depth by Vogue Philippines and Tatler Asia, which featured her on its May 2026 cover discussing the appointment. By the time of the Milan gala, she had been with the house for close to two years, putting her on the senior side of its Asian roster of ambassadors and friends.
For a former pageant winner often boxed into pageant coverage, the Milan trip lands as a clean step into the high jewelry world.
