Men's Fashion Week for the spring/summer 2027 season has officially commenced in Europe. While the World Cup captures attention in North America, the style focus has shifted to continental Europe for the latest displays of masculine bravado. The spring/summer 2027 edition started in earnest in Milan, setting the stage for a series of showcases that define the coming trends in menswear and celebrity culture.
The season opened at the Prada Fondazione in Milan. Actor Noah Jupe arrived in a low-cut jumper that recalled the waxed-chested metrosexuality of the 2000s, signaling that scoop necks have returned to the runway. He was joined by Ruaridh Mollica, a rising movie star from Scotland, as well as Louis Partridge, Troye Sivan and Jordan Firstman. These appearances act as a cosign of relevance in what the industry calls its internet-boyfriend-making machine. Director Joachim Trier has noted the importance of being seen at these events, which serve as a reliable route to heartthrob status. The house presented ultra-slim, ultra-transparent tailoring to this audience, continuing its tradition of identifying leading men early.
The spotlight now moves to Paris, where the starting whistle is yet to blow for several major houses. Dior Homme has already drawn a significant crowd, with James Marsden, Mike Faist, Drew Starkey, Jake Shane, LaKeith Stanfield, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Connor Swindells, Farida Khelfa, Arón Piper and a trio of K-pop stars taking their seats. Louis Vuitton welcomed Skepta, Jackson Wang, Lola Young, Charles Melton, Jeremy Allen White and Missy Elliott. Saint Laurent hosted Connor Storrie, Joe Alwyn, Charli xcx, Kate Moss, Arca, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Tom Sturridge, Jaafar Jackson and Amelia Gray. The schedule remains packed, with Celine, Dries Van Noten and an off-schedule Jacquemus show in Corsica still to name their starting lineups.
