Saturday plans in Dubai have a new weekly option. Call of the Jungle launched yesterday at African Queen, bringing a Riviera-inspired brunch to J1 Beach throughout the summer. Running every Saturday from June 20 until August 29, the event offers a mix of dining and entertainment at the Jumeirah waterfront. Taking place from 1pm to 5pm, this weekly gathering adds a fresh contender to the city’s competitive brunch scene, overlooking one of Dubai’s newest beachfront destinations. The arrival of this concept positions African Queen as a key player in the weekend lineup, offering a distinct alternative to standard city offerings.
The experience blends tropical aesthetics with the venue’s signature Mediterranean atmosphere to create a unique visual setting. Unlike traditional brunches focused solely on food and drinks, Call of the Jungle aims to deliver a full social experience for guests. Attendees can enjoy a jungle-themed setting featuring live DJ performances throughout the afternoon and immersive décor inspired by tropical landscapes. The atmosphere is designed to transition seamlessly from lunch into sunset celebrations, anchored by a three-course menu and beverage packages tailored to different preferences.

Four packages are available to suit different tastes and budgets. The Non-Alcoholic option costs AED 468, while the House Package is priced at AED 603. The Premium Package is listed at AED 718, and the Champagne Package is available for AED 885 for guests aged 21 and over. All tiers include access to the brunch experience, entertainment, and the full three-course dining menu, ensuring that the core offering remains consistent regardless of the beverage selection.
J1 Beach has quickly become one of Dubai’s most talked-about lifestyle destinations, attracting luxury restaurants, beach clubs, and new hospitality concepts. With African Queen introducing Call of the Jungle as its signature summer brunch, the venue is positioning itself as one of the season’s standout weekend experiences. A smart casual dress code applies, meaning beachwear and overly casual attire may not be permitted, and bookings can be modified up to 72 hours before the event. As J1 Beach continues to attract some of Dubai’s most sought-after dining concepts, demand for weekend reservations remains high, particularly during peak brunch hours.
