UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received the Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers and senior sheikhs at Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, to exchange greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
Who attended
According to the official statement issued through the UAE Presidential Court and circulated by state media, the President received His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai (per Gulf News). He was joined by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah; His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah; His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain; and His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah (per Sharjah24).
The setting
The reception took place in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court (per Gulf Today). Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, sheikhs and senior officials also attended to offer congratulations. Their Highnesses exchanged best wishes for continued prosperity, security and stability for the UAE and its people, in line with the longstanding annual Eid majlis tradition at Al Mushrif Palace.

Earlier the same morning, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed performed Eid Al Adha prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi (per Abu Dhabi Media Office). In parallel receptions, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, received Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, sheikhs and well-wishers at separate majlises.
Citizen housing package announced
Ahead of the holiday and on the directives of the UAE President, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi approved a 1.54 billion dirham housing benefits package for Emirati citizens, covering housing grants and loan exemptions distributed across all emirates (per Abu Dhabi Media Office). The announcement was framed as part of the leaderships Eid Al Adha greetings to the Emirati public.
