Raffles Jeddah has opened on the Red Sea Corniche.
The luxury hotel group welcomed its first guests to the coastal property on Wednesday. This landmark opening marks a major expansion for the brand in the Gulf region, bringing its signature butler service and high-end design to the historic port city.
What Raffles Jeddah Offers Guests
The property occupies a prominent place on the waterfront. It features 182 guest rooms and 120 branded residences, spread across two towers. Guests can access a private beach club, multiple wellness areas, and a dedicated spa. The brand's famous personal butler service is available to every resident and guest, ensuring a highly tailored stay.
The design blends traditional Arab architecture with modern elements. It works. Large windows offer views of the Red Sea and the King Fahd Fountain.
A New Dining Destination on the Coast
The hotel introduces six distinct restaurants and lounges to the local culinary scene. These venues offer a range of international cuisines, from classic French pastries to modern Middle Eastern dishes. A rooftop lounge provides panoramic views of the coastline, making it a prime spot for evening gatherings.
Local residents can also access the dining venues without staying at the hotel. This integration helps the property become a social hub for the surrounding neighborhood.
Expanding the Brand in the Gulf
This opening aligns with a broader push to grow luxury tourism along the Red Sea. The region has seen rapid development, with several high-profile resorts opening over the last year. Hospitality groups are racing to capture demand from affluent travelers seeking new coastal destinations.
The parent company, Accor, has plans to open more luxury properties in the region. This launch represents a key step in that strategy, building on existing hotels in Dubai and Bahrain.
A Visual Landmark for the Corniche
The architecture of the double-tower structure makes it instantly recognizable. It stands tall. The design reflects the changing face of the waterfront.
The project has been in development for several years, drawing interest from design enthusiasts. With its prime location, the hotel is positioned to attract both business travelers and leisure tourists. The nearby retail districts and cultural sites add to its appeal for weekend visitors.
