UAE residents can now sign a nationalpledgeonline following its launch in Abu Dhabi last month. The 'Pledge and Commitment' initiative opened for digital participation on June 3.

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, launched the initiative on May 19 at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre. The event drew more than 4,800 attendees, including intellectuals, academics, investors, business leaders, students and community representatives.
Sheikh Nahyan was the first to sign the pledge document, followed by 30 prominent figures. The initiative aims to express loyalty to the country's leadership and appreciation for the UAE's journey of security, stability and prosperity.
Online Participation
Community members can sign the pledge through Sandooq Al Watan, a not-for-profit philanthropic organisation. The platform, accessible at pledge.ae, allows participants to complete the process in a few steps.
Users select their preferred language, enter their full name and optionally provide an email address. There is also an option to include family members in the pledge. Upon completion, participants receive a digital Certificate of Appreciation.

The certificate can be downloaded as a standard document or in a social media story format for sharing online. The pledge is available in 12 languages: Arabic, English, Urdu, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Filipino, Bangla, Farsi, Pashto, Chinese and Punjabi.
The initiative is open to all members of UAE society, including citizens and residents. It serves as a platform to express appreciation for the country's achievements in safety, security and prosperity. The duration of the online campaign has not been specified.
