Amazon Prime Video has confirmed Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn as the new lead pair for Off Campus season two, shifting the romantic spotlight from Hannah and Garrett to Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis. The announcement was made on 28 May 2026, two weeks after the first season debuted on the platform and started building an early fan base around the Briar University hockey ensemble.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Abdalla, who played Hannah's best friend Allie in season one, is being elevated to co-lead alongside Kalyn's hockey star Dean.Amazon MGM Studios separately noted that the renewal was greenlit on 12 February 2026, before the first season even premiered, signalling early confidence in the property.
What season two will adapt
Off Campus is based on the Elle Kennedy book series of the same name. Per Mamamia, season two will draw from The Score, the third Briar U novel, in which Allie and Dean fall into a complicated entanglement after a single unexpected night together. The structural choice mirrors how the books themselves rotate through different couples per instalment, with each Briar U title centring on a fresh pairing inside the same hockey-team friend group.
Returning supporting cast is expected to include Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, according to Marie Claire, which adds that the season will revisit the campus world built in the first run rather than rebuild it from scratch.
