Kalba's Al Saf 7 Park Completed, Others Near Finish

Sharjah’s public works authority handed over Al Saf 7 Park in Kalba. The facility covers 65,700 square metres and marks a significant step in the emirate’s plan to upgrade public amenities in the eastern city. The handover was made to the beneficiary authority, reflecting close coordination with the Kalba Municipal Council as part of Sharjah’s long‑term vision for the region. Development works at Al Sidra Park have also concluded, and several other park projects across Kalba have reached 90 per cent completion. The Sharjah Department of Public Works is managing these initiatives in partnership with the Kalba Municipal Council, ensuring that each site aligns with the broader goal of enhancing public amenities, improving quality of life, and delivering modern recreational spaces for residents. These projects aim to improve quality of life by providing modern recreational spaces that encourage outdoor activities. The new green areas are designed to promote healthier lifestyles, offering families a welcoming environment where children can play safely and residents can engage in more active pursuits throughout the year. Community Vision Engineer Khadija Al Dhuhouri, from the department’s Kalba branch, highlighted the broader vision behind the developments. She explained that the parks reflect a comprehensive approach to creating accessible facilities that enrich everyday life for residents while keeping pace with the city’s continued growth.
