Lebanese television host, makeup artist, and beauty mogul Joelle Mardinian has announced a strategic partnership for her flagship cosmetic clinic chain, Clinica Joelle, marking what she described as a significant new chapter for the brand's expansion in the UAE capital. The announcement, made public in early May 2026, names Canadian-based entrepreneur Hanan Yazji as a new partner in Clinica Joelle Abu Dhabi (Biz Today).
Yazji, who is the founder of three award-winning pharmacies in Canada, relocated from Canada to invest with Mardinian in the Abu Dhabi operation. According to the announcement, Yazji cited the UAE's long-term investment potential and stable business environment as central reasons for the move, joining the venture with what she described as strong confidence in the country's beauty and healthcare sectors.
Mardinian, who founded the Joelle Group and built a multi-million-dirham beauty empire that now includes Clinica Joelle clinics, beauty products, and media ventures, highlighted the importance of the partnership as part of the brand's long-term growth strategy. She noted that the UAE has consistently provided the foundation for her business expansion and described Abu Dhabi as a strategic priority market for the clinic group (Arab News).
Clinica Joelle is one of the region's leading names in beauty and cosmetic clinics, with multiple branches across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The Abu Dhabi clinic, located in the capital's upmarket clinical district, offers a portfolio of dermatology, aesthetic medicine, and cosmetic procedures, and is registered with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi via established healthcare directories (Okadoc).
The new partnership is positioned as a vehicle for accelerated expansion within Abu Dhabi rather than a change in clinical direction, with both parties stating their intent to introduce new service lines and growth opportunities driven by innovation and market demand. Mardinian, who counts more than 18 million followers across her social channels, framed the move as part of a broader push to deepen the Joelle Group's footprint in the UAE's fast-growing beauty sector.
Yazji is expected to take an active operational role in Clinica Joelle Abu Dhabi alongside Mardinian, contributing pharmacy and retail healthcare experience accumulated through her Canadian ventures. The announcement marks one of the more notable founder-level partnership moves in the regional beauty clinic segment this year.
